Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Welcome to Itqan Australian Academy. Whether you are a prospective parent, a member of our school family or a friend of the community, I am delighted that you have taken the time to get to know us.
The word itqan means doing something with excellence and perfection, and it is a quality the Prophet ﷺ encouraged in every action. It is the standard we hold ourselves to each day: in our classrooms, in our care for every child and in the way we model good character.
Our vision is an Educated Muslim Community inspired by their religion. We pursue it by offering the Cambridge International and CBC curricula alongside an Islamic integrated programme, so that learners grow in knowledge and in faith together. From the love of the Quran, Duas and Adhkar to science labs, computing and the arts, we want every learner to discover their talents and the confidence to use them.
None of this happens without partnership. Parents are a child's first teachers, and we value an open, honest relationship with every family. Our door is always open, and we encourage you to visit, ask questions and be part of school life.
I look forward to welcoming you and your child to Itqan, InshaAllah.
Wassalamu Alaikum.
